I’ve had an incredible experience working as a Design Assistant at Mohindroo Interiors. Collaborating closely with Lisa Mohindroo, I was able to actively contribute to a range of design projects, gaining valuable experience across multiple phases—from initial concept creation to the final implementation of each design. My role involved a variety of tasks, including selecting fabrics and materials, assisting with space planning, and helping ensure that the vision for each project was executed beautifully. Every day brought new challenges and opportunities to learn, whether it was balancing aesthetics with functionality in a space or working within tight timelines to meet client expectations. What made this experience particularly meaningful was the mentorship I received from Lisa. Her guidance helped me grow both creatively and professionally, offering insights into the design process that I will carry forward in my career. I am extremely grateful for the knowledge and skills I’ve gained during my time at Mohindroo Interiors, and this hands-on experience has fueled my passion for interior design even more.
